Rosewood Luang Prabang
Ban Nadueay Village, Laos
On the forested outskirts of Luang Prabang, Rosewood Luang Prabang spreads 23 individually designed rooms, suites, villas and hilltop tents around a natural waterfall and stream. Bill Bensley’s design draws on French-Indochine interiors and the patterns and craft traditions of Lao hill communities; the tents stand on a wooded hillside. A pool beside the waterfall, a creek-spanning bar and tented spa treatment rooms make the grounds part of the stay, rather than simply a backdrop to visiting town.
