Tierra Patagonia
Torres del Paine, Chile
At the edge of Torres del Paine National Park, Tierra Patagonia looks across Lake Sarmiento toward the massif. Its 40 rooms range from standard rooms to two-level suites, with interiors that use lenga wood and frame the changing lake-and-mountain light. Designed by Chilean architect Cazú Zegers, the low, curved lodge is a base for guided park excursions as well as time beside the lake or at Uma Spa. It operates seasonally, from October through April.
