Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris
Paris, France
Founded in 1928 and reopened in 2010 after a two-year transformation by Philippe Starck, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris gives its Avenue Hoche address an unusually pronounced cultural focus. The 149-room-and-suite hotel is close to the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Élysées and Parc Monceau. Art is part of the visit, not just the décor: guests find a gallery, an art bookstore and a 99-seat cinema alongside the hotel’s restaurants and spa.
