Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club
Surfside, United States
Opened by Four Seasons in 2017 on the site of the Surf Club, which began in 1930, this oceanfront property occupies nine acres in Surfside. Its scale is unusually intimate for a resort: 77 guest rooms sit alongside four bungalows and hotel residences, with the original clubhouse at the heart of the grounds. Richard Meier’s newer buildings frame that historic structure, while Joseph Dirand’s interiors and the beachfront setting shape a stay oriented around the shore, the pools and the club’s dining rooms.
