Hotel Lucia
Portland, United States
Hotel Lucia occupies a 1909 downtown building first built as an expansion of the Imperial Hotel, later called the New Imperial Hotel and renamed after its 2001 purchase and renovation. Its 127 rooms and suites are threaded with a collection of 680 black-and-white photographs by David Hume Kennerly, displayed in guest rooms and public spaces. The result is a compact, art-led city hotel where the building’s Portland history is part of the stay, not just a backdrop.
