Wentworth Mansion
Charleston, United States
Built in 1886 as the home of cotton merchant Francis Silas Rodgers, Wentworth Mansion is a 21-room hotel in Charleston’s historic Harleston Village. Its Second Empire house preserves Tiffany stained glass, hand-carved woodwork and a rooftop cupola, while individually designed rooms give the property the scale of a private home rather than a large city hotel. Circa 1886, serving seasonal Lowcountry cuisine, occupies the original carriage house; historic peninsula streets and attractions are within walking distance.
