Choose the original Mandarin Oriental for a substantial Central hotel whose harbour-facing rooms, established dining rooms and transport connections put Hong Kong close at hand.
Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is the group’s original property, opened in 1963 in Central overlooking Victoria Harbour. Its 387 rooms and 60 suites have city or harbour views, while an indoor lap pool and a collection of dining rooms give the large hotel a distinctly urban rhythm. Footbridges connect it with Central’s business and shopping streets. The hotel is closed for a summer recess through 30 September 2026; its rooms and facilities should be considered in light of that temporary closure.
