Olissippo Lapa Palace
Lisbon, Portugal
Olissippo Lapa Palace occupies a 19th-century palace on a hill in Lisbon’s Lapa district, overlooking the Tagus and set among subtropical gardens. Its 95 rooms are divided between the Palace Wing and Garden Wing, giving the property the scale of a substantial city hotel while keeping its historic residence at the center of the experience. The palace opened to the public as a hotel in 1992 under the name Hotel da Lapa; original stained glass remains in two historic rooms.
